Scott Frazin: Blending Personal Engagement with Next Gen Advisory Approach
Partner combines high-touch client service, investment insight and community leadership to drive growth
As a partner at Chicago Capital, LLC, Scott Frazin has helped drive firm growth through proactive, relationship-first client engagement. He goes the extra mile to truly listen, tailoring strategies to each client’s goals rather than relying on one-size-fits-all solutions. While he uses modern technology for remote meetings and portfolio construction, he is an ardent believer in “old-fashioned” communication, prioritizing phone calls and in-person conversations where appropriate. In a world dominated by impersonal emails and texts, those live, personal touchpoints make a tangible difference in how clients experience advice.
Scott also plays an active role in the firm’s research process, regularly updating colleagues on existing positions and presenting new investment ideas during research meetings. His analytical discipline complements his client work, helping ensure that portfolios are grounded in rigorous, ongoing due diligence.
Beyond the office, Scott’s commitment to service runs deep. He serves on the board of Anshe Emet Synagogue in Chicago and sits on the executive committee of the Judd Goldman Adaptive Sailing Foundation, whose mission is to provide accessible sailing instruction to people with physical disabilities and at-risk inner-city youth. He chairs the Independence Cup Gala and previously served on the Jewish Council for Youth Services.
Scott mentors the firm’s summer interns and stays in touch after they graduate to discuss markets and career paths. He also volunteers at his synagogue’s religious school and has served as a substitute teacher at Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School, reflecting his passion for preparing today’s youth for tomorrow’s challenges.
A CFA charterholder, Scott was named to the Jewish United Fund’s “36 Under 36” list in 2019 and was honored in 2023 by Anshe Emet Synagogue as Hatan HaTorah, recognizing his contributions to the congregation and the broader Jewish community.
