Alan Simeon: Transformation Through Growth, Innovation and Mentorship

Company:

Perennial Financial Services

Managing director scales firm past $1.5B while modernizing operations, advancing next-gen advisory model

As managing director at Perennial Financial Services, Alan Simeon has driven measurable, lasting impact through strategic leadership, operational transformation, and sustained growth. He has played a central role in recruiting like‑minded advisors to the firm, leveraging decades of relationships built during his wholesaling career to attract professionals aligned with Perennial’s values and long-term vision. That effort has helped the platform grow to more than 1.5 billion dollars in assets under management.

Alan’s influence runs deeper than asset growth. He has been instrumental in developing the next generation of advisors, guiding younger professionals through licensing, professional development, and career advancement. Several have gone on to secure prominent roles on Wall Street, underscoring both his mentoring commitment and the strength of the culture he has helped build.

Operationally, Alan led Perennial’s shift from a traditional “set-it-and-forget-it” brokerage model to a fiduciary, process-driven advisory approach centered on proactive planning, structured portfolio reviews, and consistent client engagement. He modernized internal systems by replacing paper-based processes and informal tracking with integrated workflow and process management tools, reducing errors and creating accountability through defined steps and clear timelines. He has also integrated artificial intelligence into daily operations to streamline communication and automate administrative tasks, freeing the team to focus on strategic planning and high-value client work.

Outside the office, Alan’s impact is equally notable. He has mentored two young men from high school through licensing and into Wall Street roles, modeling discipline, character, and professionalism. Each year he travels to the Philippines to participate in medical missions serving underserved communities and supports the Northern California Philippine Medical Society’s outreach efforts.
