Sabrina Unger: Shaping Institutional Real Estate Strategy with Data, Insight and Vision
Sabrina Unger serves as Managing Director, Head of Research and Strategy at American Realty Advisors (ARA), where she leads the firm’s research initiatives and works closely with investment and portfolio-management teams to underpin new acquisitions and strategic implementation. She also sits on ARA’s Investment Committee.
Before joining ARA, Unger was part of the global research team at Invesco Real Estate, contributing to global portfolio strategies and authoring influential thought leadership papers. She also held roles at Clarion Partners and in the real estate division of a major sports-entertainment company.
Unger’s credentials extend beyond deal decks. Over her more than 14-year career, she has published widely in the research publications of AFIRE, NCREIF, and ANREV. She contributed on the editorial boards of major real estate journals and is currently incoming chair of the research forum at the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
She is receiving the Connect Money Next Generation Alternative Investment Award for her exceptional ability to combine data-driven research, macroeconomic insight, and strategic underwriting to guide institutional real estate allocations through volatile markets.
