Melissa Pietroforte: Elevating Global Capital Solutions at KKR
Melissa Pietroforte serves as Director on the Global Client Solutions team at KKR in New York, where she leads institutional client coverage for Canada and works closely with global investors to bring alternative asset strategies to market.
Before joining KKR in 2020, Pietroforte held a vice-president role at Mercury Capital Advisors, where she focused on capital raising across a broad spectrum of asset classes including private equity, private credit, venture capital, real estate, and special situations. Her prior experience also includes roles at Spring11 and Brookfield Financial, helping to build a robust foundation in alternative investments and investor relations.
At KKR, she has helped deepen relationships with Canadian institutional investors and expand cross-border capital flows into KKR’s suite of private markets, helping to broaden international investor access and diversify capital sources. Her work also includes coordinating high-level investor events—recently hosting senior leadership in Toronto to engage with clients and reinforce KKR’s global commitment.
