Dinon Hughes is a Partner at Nvest Financial, an independent RIA based in Portsmouth, NH, where he serves as a CFP and leads client advisory across retirement planning, wealth management, and holistic financial strategies.
A graduate of Bentley University with a background in economics and finance, Hughes earned his CFP certification while still completing college and joined Nvest during his final semester. He serves clients from the Northeast and nationwide—with a focus on individuals transitioning from employer-sponsored plans, complex family finances, retirement readiness, and long-term financial health.
Beyond client work, Hughes has committed himself to financial education and community impact. As a board member and leader of NextGen initiatives at the Financial Planning Association (FPA) for New England, he’s been instrumental in advancing financial literacy among younger investors. Each year he returns to his old high school to teach students personal finance basics—a mission born from his own early discovery of investing in a high school economics class.
