Patrick Marcinko: Championing Next-Gen Advice and Financial Education

Company:

Bogart Wealth

Patrick Marcinko is a Partner and CFP at Bogart Wealth, where he guides clients on retirement planning, wealth management, tax optimization, and long-term financial strategy. A Baltimore–area native, he holds a B.S. in Financial Planning from Virginia Tech.

Before joining Bogart Wealth in 2022, Marcinko began his career as a Financial Analyst at Goldman Sachs — an experience that laid a strong foundation in capital markets and analytical rigor.

Marcinko is deeply committed to financial education and community engagement. As Director of the NexGen program for the National Capital Area chapter of the Financial Planning Association, he helps mentor young advisors and promotes financial literacy among younger investors.

He has also contributed insights to national outlets — including Business Insider, USA Today, and U.S. News & World Report — helping individuals better understand key issues such as credit score management, tax-deferred savings, and retirement planning.

He earns the Connect Money Next Generation Alternative Investment Award for melding traditional financial planning with a proactive educational mission. His dedication to next-generation clients, transparent advice, and community outreach exemplifies the future of advisory leadership — one grounded in both professionalism and purpose.
