The AmeriFlex Group Lures $280M FA Team from Osaic Wealth
The AmeriFlex Group, a hybrid registered investment advisor, has added a California-based registered investment advisor firm, which manages approximately $280 million in client assets.
Brea, CA-based Summit Financial & Insurance Services, founded in 2013, is led by founding partner Jerry Kleber, partner Raz Bracha, and financial advisor and investor advisor representative Leah Pattison.
Summit Financial & Insurance Services has also joined Cambridge Investment Research as its broker-dealer partner, and the entire team was part of the transition, an AmeriFlex spokesperson confirmed to Connect Money.
Summit Financial & Insurance Services offers “specialized” financial planning, investment management, estate planning, and tax planning to high-net-worth individuals, businesses, owners, pre-retirees, and retirees.
“As an ever-increasing number of quality financial advisors contact our firm, one thing is becoming clear – advisors consistently express to us that they want true independence, and a boutique feel within a larger organization,” Jesse Kurrasch, COO of The AmeriFlex Group, said. “Moreover, what they do not want is the pressure that may be exerted upon them by other firms to move assets on platform.”
Las Vegas-based AmeriFlex Group, founded in 2019 by Thomas Goodson, who also serves as the firm’s CEO, was an office of supervisory jurisdiction with SagePoint Financial, which was later consolidated into Osaic in 2023.
Following AmeriFlex Group’s split from Osaic, the firm brings about $11.8 billion in client assets and its 129 financial advisors to Fairfield, IA-based Cambridge’s platform.
