Six-Member Advisory Team with $250M in Assets Joins Cetera Advisor Networks
Cetera Financial Group, one of the country’s largest networks of financial professionals, announced that a six-member team from Wooster Square Advisors, a New Haven, CT-based wealth advisory firm with $250 million in assets under administration, has affiliated with the Cetera Advisor Networks division of Cetera Financial Group.
Previously affiliated with broker-dealer Park Avenue Securities, the team of Wooster Square Advisors is led by managing partner and wealth manager Brett Amendola. Wooster focuses on local small businesses, legal professionals and clients in the higher education and medical fields.
“With Cetera’s industry-leading technology, a broad product and platform suite, and a clear vision for our practice, Cetera is the right partner for our business and our clients,” Amendola said.
Cetera is coming off a record $13 billion in organic recruiting of assets under administration in 2022. The El Segundo, CA-based Cetera had more than 8,000 financial professionals overseeing $322 billion in assets under administration and $115 billion in assets under management as of the end of last year.
Cetera recently took a minority stake in a Kansas City, KS–based Prosperity Advisors, a wealth management firm overseeing $1.7 billion in assets and entered a deal to acquire $47.4 billion in assets related to Securian Financial Services.
