Rockefeller Adds $1B Bay Area Wealth Team from First Republic
Rockefeller Global Family Office, Rockefeller Capital Management’s wealth management arm, has expanded its West Coast presence by adding a six-person team from First Republic Investment Management, which was acquired by JPMorgan Chase last year during the banking crisis.
Pollock Salah Wealth Partners, which reportedly manages around $1 billion in assets, is headquartered in Walnut Creek and San Francisco, CA, and is overseen by private advisors Gary Pollock, Craig Pollock, and Anis Salah.
The team will report to Brian Riley, Western divisional director, and includes financial analyst Annette Smith, senior client associate Maryann Jensen, and registered client associate Ethan Huang.
Gary Pollock co-founded and served as president of Bay Isle Financial in 1986, overseeing operations and investments for individual clients. In 2004, he joined First Republic Investment Management. He previously spent nearly 20 years at Chevron Corp. in finance, management, and planning positions.
Prior to joining JP Morgan and First Republic, Craig Pollack began his career at Bay Isle Financial as an equity research analyst and later helped launch a technology mutual fund. He previously managed departments of client service, operations, trading, and technology at Berger Mutual Funds and Janus Capital Group.
Anis Salah held multiple roles across wealth management at JP Morgan and First Republic, including associate wealth manager, senior client service associate, senior operations specialist, and operations analyst.
In February, Rockefeller added Lewis Wealth Partners, a 10-person team overseeing about $1.8 billion based in Richmond, VA. In January, it recruited Axiom Wealth Partners, a 26-person team in Grand Rapids, MI. In September 2023, it added Decision Point Wealth Partners, a six-person team based in Wilmington, NC.
The moves follow Rockefeller’s expansion as an independent advisory firm since 2018, which now includes three distinct businesses: Rockefeller Global Family Office, Rockefeller Asset Management, and Rockefeller Strategi Advisory, with approximately $122 billion in client assets across multiple locations in the U.S. and London.
