NexPoint Fully Subscribes First Hospitality-Focused DST
NexPoint announced the successful full subscription of its NexPoint Lodging I DST, a $28 million Delaware Statutory Trust offering and the firm’s first DST vehicle dedicated exclusively to the hospitality sector.
The DST is backed by the Residence Inn Salt Lake City – West Jordan, a 99-key select-service hotel situated in a high-growth corridor of the Salt Lake City metro. The property benefits from proximity to major retail centers, corporate employment hubs, and transportation links that support strong extended-stay demand.
NexPoint has partnered with PEG Companies’ in-house hospitality management arm, PEG Hospitality Group, to operate the property. Founded in 2003, PEG has deep experience in the Salt Lake City region, having managed a portfolio of more than 3,000 hotel keys across the metro.
“We are pleased to see the strong reception from investors for our first hospitality-focused DST offering,” said Matthew McGraner, CIO at NexPoint and EVP of the DST Sponsor. “Going into 2026, NexPoint continues to look for ways to grow our alternative investment platform across real estate sectors, providing investors with access to compelling areas of the real estate market through DST offerings.”
NexPoint Lodging I DST follows the November launch of NexPoint Oasis DST and the recent introduction of Small Bay III DST, a $50.38 million small-bay industrial offering comprising properties in Deerfield Beach, Florida, and Richardson, Texas.
