Kestra Financial Acquires $550M Wealth Manager in Texas
Kestra Financial has added a Texas-based wealth management firm, which manages over $550 million in total client assets.
Richardson, TX-based Ecclesiastes Wealth Partners, founded by Shannon Harris, provides financial planning, investment management, and wealth management services.
Ecclesiastes Wealth Partners also includes partners Sarah Walsh, Justin Snowden and Amy Bonzon, and includes five other support team members, according to the firm’s website.
Prior to joining Kestra, Harris was affiliated with Ameriprise Financial for 25 years. She decided to jump to Kestra because of its “flexibility, resources, and support.”
Through its transition to Kestra, Ecclesiastes will gain additional access to the firm’s wealth management platform, technology, business consulting resources, and marketing support.
“Shannon, Sarah, and team have built an impressive practice rooted in service, planning excellence, and a genuine commitment to helping clients achieve meaningful outcomes,” said John Amore, president of Kestra Financial. “Firms like Ecclesiastes are exactly the type of growth-oriented, client-focused businesses we are proud to partner with.”
Kestra’s latest addition comes shortly after the firm added Kelly Apple as its head of Wealth Management. Apple will be responsible for leading Kestra’s organization across both Kestra Financial and its breakaway-advisor channel, Kestra Private Wealth Services.
In May, Kestra added Reading, MA-based Charted Wealth, which oversees over $300 million in assets under advisement, including qualified plan and retirement assets.
Austin-based Kestra Financial oversees about $142 billion in assets under administration across its subsidiaries and supports 1,300 financial professionals.
