Kestra Financial Acquires $300M Massachusetts Firm
Kestra Financial has added a Massachusetts-based wealth management firm, which oversees over $300 million in assets under advisement, including qualified plan and retirement assets.
Reading, MA-based Charted Wealth, founded in 2021 by George Bowen and Jim Davos, offers financial planning, investment management, retirement planning, tax and estate planning, and insurance solutions.
The team also includes director of client services Maria Bethune and financial assistant Rachel Hahn, according to the firm’s website.
Charted Wealth joined Kestra’s roster on March 3, a company spokesperson said to Connect Money.
“At Charted Wealth, everything starts with a plan, and that plan drives every decision we make for a client,” Bowen said. “When we evaluated where to take the firm next, we were looking for a home office that genuinely invests in its advisors.”
Last month, Kestra Private Wealth Services, a subsidiary of Kestra Financial, added Washington, NC-based advisor Jordan Cantrell to its platform to launch her independent practice, Timeless Private Wealth.
Austin-based Kestra Financial, which also includes Kestra Advisory Services and Kestra Investment Services, says it supports more than 1,300 financial professionals overseeing $142 billion in assets under administration.
