Ex-Edward Jones FA Joins Kestra Subsidiary to Launch Independent Practice
Kestra Private Wealth Services, a subsidiary of Kestra Financial, has added a North Carolina-based financial advisor to its platform.
Washington, NC-based Jordan Cantrell joined Kestra Private Wealth Services on February 12 to launch her independent practice, Timeless Private Wealth, which provides “comprehensive” and “personalized” financial planning to high-net-worth clients across the Southeast region.
With the launch of Timeless Private Wealth, Cantrell is also joined by director of operations Sapphire Pryor, a Kestra spokesperson confirmed to Connect Money.
Prior to joining Kestra Financial, Cantrell was previously affiliated with Edward Jones since 2014 and operated a practice in North Carolina, where she also worked with her father, Rod Cantrell, according to Edward Jones’ website.
Cantrell sought various partners for about two years before ultimately choosing Kestra PWS as her partner, and states that Kestra fosters a “collaborative culture, operational depth, and flexibility” she needs to expand her firm and deepen her relationship with her clients.
“Choosing independence was a deliberate and values-driven decision,” Cantrell said. “I wanted the freedom to communicate more creatively, deepen relationships, and build a true virtual family office that delivers an elevated experience for the families I serve.”
Earlier this month, Kestra PWS added advisor Eric Longstreth to Pennsylvania-based Kindred Wealth Partners, which has been a Kestra Financial affiliate since 2023.
Longstreth, who previously managed over $250 million in client assets, was affiliated with Morgan Stanley, prior to joining Kestra.
In November, Kestra PWS added Scottsdale, AZ–based Ascend Private Wealth Partners, which manages $866 million in total client assets.
Austin-based Kestra Financial, which also includes Kestra Advisory Services and Kestra Investment Services, says it supports more than 1,300 financial professionals overseeing $142 billion in assets under administration.
