Constitution Capital Surpasses $1.1B Across Two Mid-Market Funds
Alternative asset manager Constitution Capital Partners has reportedly raised approximately $1.1 billion across a pair of new mid-market investment funds, including a private equity fund-of- funds and a co-investment strategy, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The firm is also looking to raise $300 million for a new opportunities fund.
The fundraising flurry comes three years after Constitution soared past its target for its fifth flagship fundraise to reach $1 billion for the vehicle. The firm had set a $600 million target for Ironsides V, but easily beat that amount as well as the $755 million collected for Ironsides IV at the end of 2016.
Constitution raised $823 million for the final close of the Ironsides III Private Equity Partnership/Co-Investment Funds and related segregated mandates in 2015.
