Cetera Nabs $228M FA from Ameriprise Financial
Veteran financial advisor Matthew Flynn and his seven-person team, which manages about $228 million in assets under administration, have joined Cetera Financial Group’s Summit Financial Networks from Ameriprise Financial.
Troy, MI-based Sentia Wealth, provides “personalized” retirement planning, wealth management services, tax planning, estate planning, and insurance services to high-net-worth individuals, families, pre-retirees, and retirees.
The team includes partner and financial advisor Bill Turner, wealth advisor Michael Moon, administrative assistants Maria Flynn, Makayla Sheppy, and Olivia Pannecouk, and enrollment & education specialist James Varnum, according to the firm’s website.
Flynn chose Cetera because of the firm’s “deep understanding” of Sentia Wealth and its opportunities to provide “long-term” growth and “customized” marketing services.
“Through Cetera’s significant marketing capabilities, we’re enabling advisors to scale meaningful conversations and drive measurable outcomes from their existing client base,” Tom Halloran, Cetera’s advisor channel leader, said. “We believe that financial advisors like Matt Flynn can leverage our marketing solutions to strategically connect the dots between data, planning and action, which collectively give our advisors a powerful platform from which to pursue their growth goals.”
Cetera’s latest addition comes as the firm is seeking to expand on its artificial intelligence-driven offerings to streamline relationships between financial advisors and their clients.
In July, the firm launched IntelligenceEngine, a tool that incorporates advanced analytics, planning technology, and client engagement tools into a single, seamless growth platform for advisors’ existing books of business.
