Cambridge Backs AmeriFlex to Scale Advisor Succession Platform

Cambridge Investment Research has made a strategic minority investment in hybrid RIA The AmeriFlex Group, deepening an existing partnership and accelerating the growth of AmeriFlex’s advisor succession platform,  SuccessionFully.

The capital infusion is designed to expand SuccessionFully into a more comprehensive, single-source solution for advisors navigating retirement, continuity, and ownership transitions. Cambridge’s investment will support broader succession-focused advisor education, enhanced deal-structuring and valuation support, a deeper marketplace of succession opportunities, and more robust continuity planning tools.

“Strengthening our partnership with Cambridge enhances our ability to support advisors planning for retirement or long-term continuity,” said Thomas Goodson, founder and CEO of The AmeriFlex Group. “The scale of advisor retirements facing the industry represents a real succession crisis, and too many advisors are left navigating that transition without aligned support or transparent options. SuccessionFully was built to address that gap by giving advisors control over one of the most important decisions of their careers.”

The investment builds on Cambridge becoming AmeriFlex’s broker-dealer partner in July 2025. Since that relationship began, AmeriFlex has added 11 advisors and more than $1 billion in client assets, underscoring the growing demand for structured, advisor-centric succession solutions as founders age and valuations rise.

AmeriFlex will remain majority advisor-owned and independently operated following the transaction, with its leadership team retaining full strategic control. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed.
