Americana Partners Expands With $1.5B Morgan Stanley Advisory Team
Americana Partners, a Houston-based firm in the Dynasty Financial Partners network, has recruited a Morgan Stanley team managing over $1.5 billion in assets. The team, known as the AHM Group, serves ultra-high-net-worth clients and includes advisors Palmer Moldawer, Will Carsey, and Will Gutkowski, along with staffer Kayla Sickman.
Moldawer joined as managing director and private wealth advisor with 35 years of industry experience, including 15 years at Morgan Stanley. He specializes in UHNW families, entrepreneurs, and institutions. Carsey joined Americana as SVP and private wealth advisor, bringing 12 years of Morgan Stanley experience. Gutkowski joined as SVP and private wealth advisor with seven years of experience, having started at Morgan Stanley in 2018. Sickman transitioned as VP in private wealth services, focusing on client experience, previously a business development associate at Morgan Stanley.
“Palmer and his team share our commitment to helping successful families, entrepreneurs, and institutions navigate the ever-changing world of investing and wealth planning,” CEO Jason Fertitta, who launched Americana in 2019, said. “They bring a wealth of experience and fresh ideas, and together, we’re building something special for families with significant means.”
Americana Partners leverages Dynasty’s back-office support to serve UHNW clients. The firm reported over $6 billion in assets under management (AUM) in its March 2025 Form ADV filing with the SEC. Recent announcements include a strategic investment from private equity firm Lovell Minnick Partners last October and the acquisition of Los Angeles-based Boulevard Family Wealth in March 2025.
