Americana Partners Expands to Tennessee with Acquisition of Goodpasture Gray 

Americana Partners, a wealth manager overseeing more than $11.5 billion in assets, has acquired Goodpasture Gray, a Nashville-based registered investment advisory firm managing over $300 million in assets. The acquisition marks Americana’s second expansion outside Texas — following its March 2025 purchase of Beverly Hills-based Boulevard Family Wealth — and establishes a dedicated practice focused on serving high-net-worth clients, including athletes, entertainers, and multigenerational families.

Founded in 1997, Goodpasture Gray provides customized wealth management, asset allocation, and estate planning solutions. The firm is led by W.L. Gray and Chris Brophy, with Amy Matas overseeing client onboarding and operations.

While Americana will not immediately open a physical Nashville office, Goodpasture Gray’s team will continue to serve clients locally under the Americana Partners banner. 

Americana also announced it has significantly enhanced its fixed income capabilities with the addition of Franklin Ruben, a seasoned high-yield municipal bond expert, to the firm’s investment team. Ruben’s appointment marks a major step in broadening Americana’s fixed income and tax-advantaged product suite, particularly in advanced municipal bond strategies.
