J.P. Morgan Files to Launch Real Assets Interval Fund

J.P. Morgan Investment Management Inc. is preparing to launch the JPMorgan Real Assets Dedicated Fund, an interval fund organized as a Delaware Statutory Trust, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing on Aug. 7, 2026.

Alternative asset manager GCM Grosvenor will serve as the fund’s unaffiliated investment subadviser. The strategy aims to deliver current income and long-term capital appreciation by allocating at least 80% of net assets to real asset sectors globally, including real estate, infrastructure, agriculture, farmland, and timber.

The fund will build exposure through primary investments in real estate investment trusts (REITs) and business development companies (BDCs), alongside preferred equity securities, debt instruments, and open-end vehicles such as exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

According to regulatory filings, the fund will offer three distinct share classes:

Class S: Requires a $25,000 initial investment minimum and carries an annual 0.75% distribution fee.

Class A: Requires a $25,000 minimum with a 0.50% annual distribution fee, and represents the only share class subject to an upfront sales load.

Class I: Tailored for institutional and fee-based accounts, carrying a $1 million minimum—reduced to $100,000 for registered investment advisers—and no distribution fee.
