LPL Financial Scores $1.5B Ex-MassMutual Team in Dallas
LPL Financial has added another financial advisory team from MassMutual, where they managed about $1.5 billion in advisory, brokerage, and retirement plan assets.
Dallas-based Spectrum Wealth Strategies is led by advisors Randy Black, Jonathan Bomar, Truman Blocker, Landon Vaughan, Weston Poulos, Billy Geiler, Jeff Cummins, and Jaime Galvan.
The team, which has joined LPL’s broker-dealer and RIA model, also includes associate advisors Stephen Luna and Matthew Galvan and has offices in Waco, Texas, and Wilmington, North Carolina.
Spectrum Wealth Strategies provides wealth management services, including financial planning, investment management, retirement planning, insurance solutions, and tax and estate planning to high-net-worth clients.
“We believe our strength lies in having someone on our team who can serve each client’s unique needs,” Blocker said. “Our core competency is delivering financial planning for life — supporting clients through every stage and helping them stay on track toward their goals.”
The team transitioned from MassMutual to LPL on June 3, according to the firm’s registration records.
Recently, LPL also recruited Michigan-based Fortress Financial Planning from MassMutual, where they managed about $150 million in total client assets.
LPL serves over 32,000 advisors, including advisors at approximately 1,100 institutions, and custodies roughly $2.3 trillion in brokerage and advisory assets, the firm said.
