$1B Ex-JP Morgan Advisor Joins Cresset
Cresset has recruited a top financial advisor from JP Morgan, where she oversaw roughly $1 billion in assets under advisement.
Ali Bathgate Hild, who joined Cresset as a managing director, previously served as an executive director with JP Morgan Private Bank for 14 years and worked across the firm’s offices in New York and Greenwich, Connecticut, and was most recently based in JP Morgan’s Denver office.
“Cresset offers independence and the depth of a true multi-family office,” Hild said. “My clients are navigating complex liquidity events and generational transitions, and I was drawn to a firm built intentionally to serve families across generations.”
Hild joined Cresset on April 15 and was affiliated with JP Morgan since launching her career in 2013, according to the Securities and Exchange Commission and her BrokerCheck profile.
Cresset’s latest hire comes after the firm modified its executive leadership and tapped Susie Cranston as chief executive officer, replacing founders and co-CEOs Avy Stein and Eric Becker.
In December, Cresset added a Houston-based advisory team, which managed more than $1.4 billion in total client assets from Bernstein Private Wealth Management
Cresset Asset Management, launched in 2017, oversees about $79 billion in assets under management. The firm’s employees hold about 60% of its stock, while 30% is owned by its clients.
