Beacon Pointe Adds $1.2B Hemington Wealth Management
Beacon Pointe Advisors has added Falls Church, VA, and Chicago, IL-based Hemington Wealth Management, which oversees about $1.2 billion in assets under management, marking it the fifth women-led firm to join the RIA.
Hemington Wealth Management, which is led by Eileen O’Connor and Jen Dawson, includes 16 advisors and provides wealth management services and portfolio management to high-net-worth individuals and families, with a specialization in serving female clients.
The addition, which joined Beacon Pointe on November 15, marks its fifth female-led team, following the acquisition of Bethesda, MD-based The Family Firm, which manages $857 million in total assets.
“I am thrilled about what this partnership means for the future of our team and how it will elevate our ability to continue to deliver an outstanding client experience,” Dawson said. “From our earliest conversations, it was clear that Beacon Pointe shares our passion for empowering women and delivering thoughtful, values-driven advice.”
Hemington also marks the firm’s 12th transaction for this year, bringing Beacon Pointe’s assets under advisement to approximately $55 billion, the firm said.
Recently, Beacon Pointe added Waltham, MA-based Sensible Financial Planning, which oversees $944 million in total assets.
Beacon Pointe Advisors manages about $39 billion in assets under management, across 54,870 accounts, according to its latest Form ADV, updated in July.
