NexPoint Launches $46.3M Multifamily DST in Orlando Market
NexPoint has announced the launch of NexPoint Oasis DST, a $46.3 million Delaware statutory trust (DST) offering backed by a Class A multifamily property in the Orlando metropolitan area. The minimum investment is $100,000.
The DST comprises Oasis at Shingle Creek, a garden-style multifamily community located in Kissimmee, Florida, within the Orlando–Kissimmee–Sanford MSA. Developed in 2018 by The Altman Companies and managed by BH Management, the property features modern amenities and strong tenant demand in one of Florida’s fastest-growing rental markets.
“We believe multifamily DSTs offer a compelling combination of stability, growth, and accessibility,” said Matt McGraner, Chief Investment Officer and Executive Vice President of NexPoint. “In today’s environment, elevated home prices and interest rates are keeping renters in place and intensifying demand for multifamily housing. This dynamic creates a favorable backdrop for DSTs, which allow investors to access institutional-quality real estate while benefiting from tax deferral through Section 1031 exchanges.”
The launch of NexPoint Oasis DST follows the firm’s recent introduction of Small Bay III DST, a $50.38 million offering that includes two small-bay industrial properties located in Deerfield Beach, Florida, and Richardson, Texas.
