
$1.1B FA Team Departs UBS for RBC Wealth Management
RBC Wealth Management has nabbed a six-person team that oversees $1.1 billion in client assets from UBS Wealth Management in Michigan.
Bloomfield Hills, MI-based BLS Financial Group is led by managing directors and private wealth advisors Jonathan Modiano, Adam Jones, and financial advisor Mark Steinberg.
The team is also supported by associate VPs and senior business associate Tricia Fitzsimons, senior financial associate Kristen Charlton, and senior investment associate Daniel Welsh.
The team joined RBC Wealth Management for its “expanded” product offerings and capabilities that are tailored towards serving ultra-high-net worth clients.
“As we grow and expand in the Detroit market, we are looking to attract talented, high-quality teams like BLS Financial Group, which is an incredibly well-respected team that works diligently to provide exceptional service and develop deep relationships with clients,” Justin Ferdula, RBC’s Chicago complex director, said.
Recently, RBC Wealth Management added Purchase, NY-based Hudson River Wealth Management, which oversees $1.7 billion in client assets from UBS Wealth Management in New York.
RBC also added another team from UBS Wealth Management, Purchase, NY-based The Centennial Wealth Management Group, which manages $1.1 billion in client assets.
RBC Wealth Management, a subsidiary of RBC Capital Markets, has about $259 billion for 477,674 accounts, according to its latest Form ADV filed in September.
