Wellesley Hills Financial Launches Advisory Division

Wellesley Hills Financial, a digital investment bank, which serves the lower- to upper-middle market, has launched an advisory practice. 

The unit, named WHF Fintech & Payments Institute, provides services to fintech, payments, and B2B software companies. 

The Institute team includes senior advisor O.B. Rawls, founding team lead Mark Bishopp, founder and managing member Adam Hark, and managing director Anthony Malatesta. 

“Most financial firms know what a clean deal room looks like. They know what metrics a buyer wants to see. What they do not know is how to actually get the business there. We have seen more of these movies than anyone in this market. We know how they end, and we know how to fast-track the path to the best one,” said Bishopp. 

Wellesley Hills Financial’s newest announcement comes shortly after the firm hired industry executives Barry Davis, Bill Shraga, Lance McCord, and Nolan Pittman. 

Davis has joined Wellesley Hills Financial as the firm’s first London-based executive advisor, and Shraga was named managing director. McCord and Pittman were tapped as executive vice presidents for WHF’s payments consulting subsidiary, Merchant Portfolios. 

Boston-based Wellesley Hills Financial, founded in 2007, provides M&A advisory, capital raise, recapitalization, and valuations. The investment bank also has additional branches located in Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Lisbon.
