  • Edelman Financial Engines promoted Neil Gilfedder, (pictured) to CIO and executive vice president, effective March 1, succeeding Chris Jones, who served as CIO since 2001. 
  • Investment bank Piper Sandler Companies has hired Scott Kremeier as managing director in the healthcare group. Prior to joining the firm, he was a senior banker at Houlihan Lokey Capital. 
  • Wealth manager SignatureFD appointed Forbes & CNBC behavioral financial columnist Tim Mauer as Chief Advisory Officer. Maurer previously served as head of wealth management for Triad Financial Advisors. 
  • Opportunity Finance Network, a network of community development financial institutions, named Harold B. Pettigrew Jr as president and CEO, effective June 2023. He is current CEO of the Washington Area Community Investment Fund (Wacif). 
  • Former head of global IDEA (inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility) partnerships at Twitter Katelyn Jackson Nnake has joined Klaviyo, a marketing automation platform, as director of diversity, equity and inclusion. 
  • Rectangle Health, a provider of healthcare fintech and patient engagement services and a portfolio company of GI Partners, has appointed Sid Singh as CEO. He succeeds Dominick Colabella, who served as CEO since 2016. 
  • Strategic Value Partners LLC, a global investment firm focused on private credit opportunities, has added Dave Richards as managing director and co-head of its investment-operating team in North America. 
  • KKR has appointed Paula Campbell Roberts to the role of chief investment strategist for private wealth. Prior to joining KKR in 2017, she was an executive director at Morgan Stanley. 
  • CIFC Asset Management LLC, an alternative credit specialist, has hired Anna Kunz as a managing director in its investor solutions group. Most recently, she served as the head of business development at BlockTower Capital. 
  • Ethos Capital LP, a middle-market investment firm, has added Jim Miller as its new executive partner. Miller is currently on the board of directors of Brambles Ltd., the RealReal and LivePerson.
