Wealthspire’s Ground Control Acquires $1B Wealth Manager in London
Wealthspire Advisors’ unit, Ground Control Business Management, has acquired a United Kingdom-based management firm, marking the division’s third transaction in the European market.
London-based private wealth manager Atlantic Swiss manages over $1 billion in total client assets and administration and is led by founder and president Craig Bell.
The firm provides financial planning, investment management and wealth management services to high-net-worth clients across the U.K. and Western Europe, who are in the film, television, sports, music and fashion industries.
Atlantic Swiss includes a team of 20 employees, including eight advisors, who will be working alongside Ground Control’s president Nick Parkinson.
Additionally, Atlantic Swiss will be part of Wealthspire’s Sports & Entertainment practice, which launched earlier this month, Wealthspire stated.
“We have been partnering successfully with Ground Control for years now, so joining Wealthspire is the natural step in elevating our client service to the next level,” said Bell.
In June, Wealthspire acquired London-based Arena Wealth, which joined its Ground Control business.
New York City-based Wealthspire Advisors oversee more than $600 billion under management across all its subsidiaries in over 40 offices.
