Wealth Enhancement Scoops Up $182M RIA
Wealth Enhancement has acquired a California-based hybrid registered investment advisor, which oversees about $182 million in client assets.
The RIA’s recent acquisition, Irvine, CA-based Spectrum Wealth Management, founded in 2002, includes its affiliated public accounting firm, Putman Group. The team is led by founder and principal Benjamin Ross Putman, Sanaz Afshar, Joseph Reese, and Allan Ottens.
Spectrum Wealth Management and Putman Group, which was founded in 1991, provides wealth management, investment management, financial planning, risk management, and tax planning to high-net-worth clients.
The team also includes one advisor, 14 financial professionals, and five support staff, Wealth Enhancement said.
“By welcoming this talented team of financial and tax professionals, we’re expanding our firm’s presence and capabilities in California,” Jim Cahn, chief strategy officer of Wealth Enhancement, said. “With the addition of Spectrum Wealth Management, Wealth Enhancement now operates 20 advisor offices across the state.”
Wealth Enhancement has made several mass acquisitions of RIAs over the past couple of weeks, including Logan, UT-based hybrid RIA Wealth Advocates, Cincinnati-based L.M. Kohn & Company, and Indiana-based FPG Private Wealth.
Minneapolis-based Wealth Enhancement manages over $131 billion in assets under management and now has 162 offices, the firm said.
