Wealth Enhancement Group Adds $355M Independent RIA, Third in Iowa 

Wealth Enhancement Group has continued its buying spree with the addition of Dubuque, IA-based Heacock & Jones Financial Services, Inc., an independent RIA with over $355 million in client assets. 

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. 

Founded in 2000, Heacock & Jones Financial Services specializes in financial, tax, insurance and retirement planning and investment management. 

This is the third location in Iowa and the sixth acquisition this year for the Minneapolis-based serial RIA acquirer, bringing its total assets under management to more than $66.8 billion. 

“By partnering with our firm, the team at Heacock & Jones Financial Services will have access to additional resources and tools allowing for an even more elevated financial approach built around their clients’ unique goals,” said Jeff Dekko, chief executive officer of Wealth Enhancement Group. 

With the Heacock & Jones deal, Wealth Enhancement Group has added nearly $3.3 billion in assets so far this year. Last week, the wealth manager announced the acquisition of $1.1 billion-plus hybrid RIA New Era Financial Advisors; In March, it acquired $1 billion-plus independent RIA Equius Partners and $190 million hybrid RIA Prozan Financial Services.
