Wealth Enhancement Acquires Second Shufro Rose Practice
Wealth Enhancement has snagged its second team from New York-based wealth manager Shufro Rose, boosting the firm’s total assets to $158 billion.
The team, the Kaminsky-Silverman Group, operates within Shufro Rose and is led by principal and senior financial advisors Tonia Kaminsky and Barbara Silverman, and includes associate financial advisor Garrett Cole. The team is supported by senior client service associate Vrunda Patel.
The firm, which manages more than $554 million in assets under management, provides wealth management services, including financial planning, investment management, retirement strategies, and tax and estate planning.
Following the acquisition, which is expected to close in August, the team will assume Wealth Enhancement’s brand name, the firm said.
This acquisition marks Wealth Enhancement’s 10th transaction for the year and the second addition from Shufro Rose, the Shufro-Glass Group, which manages over $760 million in total client assets.
“Tonia and Barbara have built a thoughtful practice grounded in personal relationships and trusted advice,” Jeff Dekko, CEO of Wealth Enhancement, said. “Their commitment to serving women through complex life transitions, while also helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals, brings valuable experience to our advisor community.”
Additionally, Kaminsky and Silverman will be equity holders in Wealth Enhancement, a company spokesperson said to Connect Money.
Minneapolis-based Wealth Enhancement, which is led by Dekko, is majority-owned by private equity shops Onex Corporation and TA Associates and has 182 offices, the firm said.
