Wealth.com Teams with Cetera to Deliver Estate Planning Tech to Over 12,000 FAs
Wealth.com, an estate planning platform, has partnered with Cetera Financial Group to bring its technology to Cetera’s network. This collaboration aims to equip over 12,000 financial professionals in the Cetera network with tools to better serve clients, particularly considering significant wealth transfer opportunities.
This partnership is notable as Cetera, with $545 billion in assets under administration and $235 billion in assets under management as of September 2024, is the first major independent broker-dealer (IBD) to secure such an agreement. It aligns with industry trends toward integrating technology for holistic wealth management.
“Financial advisors today are expected to provide more comprehensive guidance than ever before, and estate planning is a critical component of that responsibility,” said Tim White, co-founder and chief growth officer of Wealth.com.
This partnership is part of a broader trend in the financial advice industry, where estate planning technology is gaining traction to address the needs of aging clients and their heirs. Companies like Wealth.com and Vanilla are frontrunners in this space, with advisors increasingly leveraging estate planning to add value and connect with future generations.
