VisionPoint Advisory Group and Navitas Wealth Advisors have merged to create Balefire, a new advisory firm with over $3.7 billion in assets under management. Described as a “merger of equals,” Balefire aims to meet the growing demand for tailored financial and business advisory services for affluent individuals, families, and businesses.
The firm unites over 60 professionals, offering comprehensive services such as wealth management, strategic tax planning, and corporate solutions. Balefire plans to drive growth through mergers, acquisitions, and organic expansion, targeting $42 billion in AUM, $215 million in annual revenue, and a 300-professional team within a decade.
Led by co-managing partners Jason Hester, former CEO of Navitas, and John Hoffman, former CEO of VisionPoint, Balefire operates across 19 states and serves clients in 39 states, with a strong presence in Texas, Mississippi, Minnesota, Alabama, Arizona, Iowa, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and South Dakota.
“We’ve built something that has real staying power for our clients and our team. Clients will see deeper bench strength, broader services, and the same personal connection they’re accustomed to. It’s not a shift in identity – it’s an expansion of what’s possible.”
