Vestmark, VanEck Partner to Deliver Custom, Tax‑Aware Model Portfolios
Vestmark, Inc. has announced a new partnership with VanEck to offer custom model portfolios to registered investment advisors, broker-dealer representatives, and other advisory professionals. The collaboration brings VanEck’s ETF, mutual fund, and thematic investment strategies onto Vestmark’s open-architecture platform, which features sophisticated overlay and tax-management capabilities, tax-transition tools, and direct indexing.
As part of the rollout, VanEck will subsidize implementation costs for advisors adopting the new models—reducing barriers to entry and accelerating the integration of customizable, tax-aware solutions into client portfolios.
“We’re honored to partner with VanEck to empower financial advisors with the technology and flexibility needed to deliver truly customized, tax-optimized portfolios,” said Karl Roessner, CEO of Vestmark. “Together, we’re enabling advisors to offer differentiated solutions that align with the increasingly personalized expectations of today’s investors.”
Advisors using the VanEck Custom Model Portfolio Solution will leverage Vestmark’s Unified Managed Account (UMA) platform, which consolidates ETFs, mutual funds, equity and fixed-income SMAs, and alternative investments within a single custodial account.
“Together with Vestmark, we’re proud to provide advisors with an intuitive, tax-aware model portfolio solution that combines VanEck’s investment expertise with Vestmark’s powerful technology infrastructure,” added Kol Estreicher, Head of RIA Channel at VanEck.
Vestmark supports six of the 10 largest managed-account platforms in the industry, with $1.9 trillion in assets flowing through its system and more than 65,000 advisors accessing a marketplace of over 1,400 strategies.
The announcement builds on a wave of recent Vestmark partnerships, including Capital Group, Fidelity Investments, and a July alliance with iCapital, BlackRock, and Dynasty Financial Partners to introduce a tax-managed UMA integrating both public and private market investments.
