UBS Recruits Another Merrill Team with $640M in Assets
UBS Wealth Management USA recruited a four-person advisory team formerly at Merrill Lynch that manages about $640 million in client assets.
BG Wealth Management joins UBS in Pepper Pike, OH. The team, which comprises advisors Charlie Bergman and Justine Greenwald, each with more than 25 years in the industry, and two client associates, Lisa Moavero and Alona Porat, will report to UBS’ Pepper Pike market director, Deb Junior.
Bergman and Greenwald were part of the KSB Group at Merrill Lynch.
“The team’s industry experience and dedication to their clients will be a great addition to our business, and we look forward to having them help us continue to expand our client offering in this key market,” Junior said, referring to the BG Wealth group.
Bergman first registered with Smith Barney in 1995, then moved to Merrill the following year, Morgan Stanley in 1998, and Merrill again in 2006, according to his BrokerCheck record.
Greenwald first registered with Fifth Third/Maxus Securities in 1998, according to BrokerCheck. She joined America Northcoast Securities in 2001, Stratos Wealth Partners in 2017, and Merrill in 2020.
Moavero had been registered at Merrill since 2007.
UBS added a 13-person advisory team in New York in June, overseeing more than $2.5 billion in assets. In May, a four-person advisory team in Garden City, New York, moved from Merrill to UBS, managing more than $950 million in assets.
