Thompson Thrift Closes $250M Multifamily Development Fund
Thompson Thrift, a full-service real estate company, closed its sixth multifamily development fund, which raised more than $250 million for the development, construction, and management of Class A multifamily communities.
The money raised will be used to fund seven new, upscale multifamily communities in geographically diverse suburban growth locations around the country, allowing Thompson Thrift to commence projects in its 2024 development pipeline.
“Their [team] real estate expertise, ability to select markets and sites with exceptional demand drivers and established track record of performance continues to be rewarded with strong interest from our valued investment partners,” Paul Thrift, CEO of Thompson Thrift.
The company’s Class A luxury multifamily portfolio ranges from traditional garden-style communities to luxury leased villas and townhomes.
Indianapolis-based Thompson Thrift’s three business segments have developed and constructed over $5.4 billion in commercial real estate in 22 states, including over 21,500 Class A apartment homes in over 80 communities and more than 4.5 million square feet of mixed-use and retail projects.
