THL Taps Mark Forbis Executive Partner
Thomas H. Lee Partners (THL), a private equity firm investing in middle-market growth companies, has appointed Mark Forbis, an industry veteran with 40 years of experience in fintech and services, executive partner.
Forbis will support the firm’s efforts in identifying, sourcing, and growing investment opportunities across the bank technology sector.
Prior to joining THL, Forbis spent over 30 years as an executive at fintech Jack Henry & Associates where he most recently served as EVP and CTO. During his time at Jack Henry, Forbis led the company’s national technology strategy and the development of numerous transformational banking technologies.
The move aligns with the broader industry trend of private equity firms recognizing the transformative potential of fintech and digital financial services.
