T. Rowe Price, Vestmark Launch RIA-focused Portfolio Solutions
T. Rowe Price and Vestmark have launched a “personalized” portfolio offering that’s tailored to serving RIAs that are seeking to boost their tax management for clients.
The two firms have created Custom Premier, which is a mutual portfolio solution that lets financial advisors provide portfolios across ETFs and mutual funds that are tailored to clients.
Custom Premier enables advisors to move from traditional portfolio models for clients, but still allows them to maintain efficiency with their products. The portfolio offering integrates T. Rowe Price’s capital markets, construction, and portfolio research with Vestmark’s tax oversight.
Through the partnership, RIAs will be able to access the custom models on the Vestmark platform with no platform fee, the firm said.
“RIAs today need personalized portfolio solutions that go beyond one-size-fits-all models,” Josh Horesh, head of U.S. model portfolio distribution at T. Rowe Price, said. “Our collaboration with Vestmark delivers a differentiated experience—one that combines structure with flexibility and investment expertise with technology, all in a platform designed to scale.”
Increasingly, more firms are actively offering tax-optimized solutions to help advisors foster deeper client relationships and manage complex planning considerations.
Recently, Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s Wealth Strategies Group rolled out its Tax Optimized Portfolio Solutions, which is an advisor tool designed to unify and enhance the tax management capabilities of MSIM, Eaton Vance, and Parametric Portfolio Associates.
The tool enables advisors to manage volatility, enhance total returns, generate income, plan for legacy goals, and optimize tax outcomes through highly tailored strategies.
Additionally, Invesco partnered with alternative asset manager LGT Capital Partners to develop multi-alternative private markets solutions, with an initial focus on the U.S. wealth and retirement channels.
The firms aim to package diversified private markets exposure—spanning strategies traditionally reserved for large institutions—into structures suitable for financial advisors, individual investors, and defined contribution plans.
