Sustainable Assets Investor Vision Ridge Secures $700M for Annex Fund
Sustainable real assets manager Vision Ridge Partners has closed its SAF Annex Fund with $700mn in capital to continue its investment strategies in The Boulder, CO-based private equity firm has already committed more than $350mn to multiple investments.
With $3.1bn in managed assets, the latest fundraise follows the close of its $1.25 billion Sustainable Asset Fund III in April 2021.
“As our world faces a seismic shift towards sustainability, we are pleased to help advance companies at the forefront of the energy transition by providing the capital, industry expertise and deep network of relationships they need to succeed for decades to come,” said Reuben Munger, managing partner at Vision Ridge.
Vision Ridge noted that the fund was backed by new institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, family offices, public pensions and consultant investors.
The firm’s investments include Earthrise, an Arlington, VA-based energy developer; Vision RNG, a Canonsburg, PA-based landfill-to-gas infrastructure developer; and Fjord1, a Norwegian maritime transportation services provider.
