Stockbridge Teams with iCapital to Offer Real Estate to Private Wealth Sector
Stockbridge, a real estate investment management firm with $33.9 billion in assets under management, has teamed with iCapital, a platform for alternative investments. This partnership aims to broaden the reach of Stockbridge’s investment products by making them accessible through the iCapital Marketplace, a digital hub that connects wealth managers, financial advisors, and asset managers with a range of alternative investment opportunities.
Stockbridge’s launch of its private wealth division in January marks a strategic pivot from its traditional focus on institutional investors toward capturing capital from accredited investors in the private wealth sector.
The iCapital Marketplace provides tools for education, transactions, and portfolio management, streamlining the process for advisors and their clients to explore and invest in alternatives like real estate.
