
Stifel Recruits $1.35B Georgia Team from Raymond James
Greer Financial Group, a Macon, Georgia-based team overseeing $1.35 billion in client assets at Raymond James & Associates, has joined Stifel Financial. The group, led by managing director Hal Greer, includes VPs George Greer, Ryan Emory, and Sheri Haugabook, financial advisor Maggie Greer, and client associates Mai Kulkarni, Lois Renfroe, and Mary Charles Dunn.
“I have worked closely with Hal over the years, and I know he will bring an incredible amount of energy and enthusiasm to the awesome culture we have at Stifel,” Dick Ferguson, Stifel’s Southern region managing director, said.
Hal Greer, a financial services veteran since 1994, joined Raymond James & Associates’ employee channel in 2013, per BrokerCheck. George Greer, after 19 years as a lawyer, transitioned to Greer Wealth Advisors of Raymond James in 2021, according to the firm’s website.
Emory began his financial services career in 2005 and joined Raymond James in 2017, per BrokerCheck. Haugabook entered the industry in 1995 and joined Raymond James in 2017, according to BrokerCheck. Maggie Greer registered as a broker in February 2025 and as an investment advisor in early March 2025, both with Raymond James.
