Silver Creek Hires Jessica Hans as Managing Director from UC Investments

Alternative asset manager Silver Creek Capital Management hired Jessica Hans as managing director to focus on investments across non-corporate debt and real assets.

Hans had been investment director at UC Investments, the $168bn investment office focused on the endowment and retirement plans at the University of California. As a senior member of the team, Hans managed portfolios across private equity, real assets and private credit.

Hans has also held similar roles at The Blackstone Group, Credit Suisse Securities and Bain & Company.

“Jessica’s significant expertise in alternative investment sourcing, due diligence and portfolio construction, coupled with her strong network of institutional relationships globally, will be invaluable to Silver Creek as we continue to expand our private credit and real assets capabilities,” said Eric Dillion, CEO and CIO of Silver Creek.

Hans will report to Art Zaske, deputy chief investment officer, and serve as a member of the Seattle-based firm’s $8.6bn investment committee and real asset investment committee.
