Rockefeller Lures Three Former Merrill Lynch Teams with $3.5B in Assets
Rockefeller Capital Management announced the addition of six financial advisors across three former Merrill Lynch teams that collectively managed nearly $3.5 billion in client assets to its Rockefeller Global Family Office.
The largest departure, a Winter Park, FL–based team that managed about $2.5 billion, includes advisors Garrett Jones, Sean Connolly, Gregory Pollock and Phillip Dobbs, joined by a seven-person support staff. The team will be called the Jones Connolly Pollock Group at Rockefeller.
The Jones Connolly Group, the first team to join Rockefeller in the Greater Orlando market, will report to Kristen Sario, director of Rockefeller’s Southeast division.
“We are delighted to welcome Garrett, Sean, Gregory and their team to the Southeast Division of Rockefeller Global Family Office,” said Sario. “We look forward to partnering with them to deliver best-in-class personalized private wealth solutions to successful families and individuals across the Orlando market.”
Along with The Jones Connolly Pollock Group, Rockefeller added $450 million Indianapolis, IN-based Cowles Wealth Partners to its Midwest division. The team includes managing director and private advisor Trent Cowles, who spent three decades at Merrill, vice president and senior client associate Jennifer Ruble and investment analyst Charlie Moffitt.
LA-based Leach Wealth Partners, with approximately $400 million in client assets and headed by former Merrill advisor Paul Leach, has also joined the Rockefeller team at its Southwest division.
Launched in 2018, New York–based Rockefeller manages approximately $98 billion in assets across its three businesses: Rockefeller Global Family Office, Rockefeller Asset Management and Rockefeller Strategic Advisory.
