RIA Gunderson Capital Management Partners with GCG Advisory Partners

Registered investment advisory firm Gunderson Capital Management has joined GCG Advisory Partners’ platform, as the firm formally launches its fee-only and pure RIA channel.

Mount Pleasant, SC-based Gunderson Capital, which offers wealth management, advisory services, portfolio management, retirement planning, risk management, and consulting.  

Following the transaction, Gunderson Capital will gain access to GCG’s technology platform, operational support, and growth capital, GCG said. 

Additionally, Gunderson Capital’s CEO and president Bill Gunderson, has joined GCG as an operating and equity partner. 

“This partnership allows us to stay focused on our visibility in the market and on building strong relationships with our clients. I’m excited to collaborate with the GCG team and continue to grow our networks together,” Gunderson said. 

Specific terms of the transaction were not disclosed. 

At GCG, Gunderson hosts the nationally syndicated Best Stocks Now Radio Hour, which appears regularly across various financial media outlets. 

As part of the transaction, Gunderson Capital will keep its existing brand, and its team will continue to manage its daily operations. 

In September, GCG sold an undisclosed controlling stake to BharCap, a private equity firm, and the investment will go towards accelerating GCG’s acquisition strategy and boosting the firm’s monetization and scale platform. 

GCG Advisory Partners, which is the parent company of GCG Wealth Management, provides capital, acquisition, and succession strategies. The firm is also an affiliate of independent broker-dealer Osaic Wealth.
