RBC Wealth Management Draws Ex-UBS FA Duo with $660M
RBC Wealth Management has added a pair of financial advisors who oversee $660 million in client assets from UBS Wealth Management in Los Angeles.
The Fogarty Hernandez Wealth Management Group, which was previously affiliated with UBS Wealth Management, is led by managing director John Fogarty Jr. and SVP Eric Hernandez from UBS’s branch in Pasadena, California.
“We are excited to welcome John and Eric to our Los Angeles branch,” Marcel TenBerge, RBC’s Southern California complex director, said. “This duo is incredibly well-respected in the area for cultivating strong client relationships and developing strategies to best meet their individual goals and needs.”
Fogarty and Hernandez started at Morgan Stanley, respectively, before joining UBS in 2009, according to their BrokerCheck profiles.
The Fogarty Hernandez Wealth Management Group marks yet another firm that has ditched UBS to join RBC over the past couple of months. In November, RBC lured New Orleans-based Heller, Stieffel & Noto Wealth Management from UBS Wealth Management in Louisiana.
Also, RBC Wealth Management added Bloomfield Hills, MI-based BLS Financial Group from UBS in Michigan, where they oversaw $1.1 billion in client assets.
RBC Wealth Management, a subsidiary of RBC Capital Markets, has about $259 billion for 477,674 accounts, according to its latest Form ADV filed in September.
