RBC Poaches $5.5B Advisory Team from UBS
A group of UBS financial advisors managing approximately $5.5 billion has left for RBC Wealth Management in Atlanta.
Co-founded in 1989 by Keith Mericka, ESOP Group specializes in counseling business owners on employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) and other succession options. It also provides asset management, insurance solutions, loan services, strategic philanthropy, and tax, estate, and retirement planning.
The team includes managing directors and private wealth advisors Leslie Lauer, Rebecca Glasgow and Curt Rubinas; senior financial associates Kurt Hirshman and Catherine Mericka; senior client associates Andrew Becket and Christy Dryden; senior investment associates Dana Breland and Dianna Moore; and client associate Rebecca Leichter.
“We are confident that RBC’s strong balance sheet and consistently high credit rating will enable us to provide increased opportunities for our clients,” Lauer said.
RBC attracted an Ohio-based team of UBS advisors managing $1.1 billion earlier this month. Another UBS advisory team joined RBC in Washington, D.C. earlier this year.
