Post Road Group to Sell Digital Infrastructure Platform to Future Standard
Post Road Group has agreed to sell its digital infrastructure platform to asset manager Future Standard, marking a strategic refocus for the Stamford, CT-based investment firm. Upon completion of the transaction, expected in October, Post Road will concentrate exclusively on its real estate investment strategies, including commercial real estate credit, opportunistic and value-add multifamily investments, and ground-up development projects.
The firm will remain under the leadership of managing partners Kevin Davis and Jason Carney. “This transaction is a pivotal step in the evolution of our firm and real estate platform, as it enables us to scale meaningfully during our next phase of growth. We continue to find compelling investment opportunities in real estate today and believe the market will remain attractive well into the future,” said Davis.
As part of the deal, managing partner Michael Bogdan will join Philadelphia-based Future Standard to lead the acquired digital infrastructure platform.
Advisors on the transaction included Berkshire Global Advisors and Kirkland & Ellis for Post Road, and Vaxa Partners and Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP for Future Standard. Since its founding in 2015, Post Road has committed and invested $4.2 billion on behalf of institutions and high-net-worth investors, including over $1.5 billion across its real estate strategies.
