Perigon Expands 1099 Program by Adding Three Partners
Perigon Wealth Management, a registered investment advisor, has added three members to its Path to Partnership initiative, furthering the expansion of the program.
The RIA launched its Path to Partnership program in 2024, which allows team members and qualified 1099 financial advisors to earn a partnership stake.
The three new members who have joined Perigon’s program are wealth advisors Chris Spires, Scott Yi, and Ron Op het Veld, Perigon said.
Spires, who joined the RIA in 2021, manages a retirement plan consulting practice that helps small businesses manage their corporate 401(k) plan. Yi, who joined in 2017, also serves as head of alternative investments and provides strategies and specializes in alternative assets, including private equity, hedge funds, private credit, private real estate, and digital assets. Op het Veld, who joined in 2023, works with individuals, families, and small business owners.
Earlier this month, Perigon hired Jon Seif to serve as the firm’s managing director of digital strategy and Luke Samuels as senior director of business development, as the RIAlaunches its in-house growth platform.
The platform will integrate business development, artificial intelligence, marketing, and digital strategy-related tools into a single structure, which is intended to assistadvisors in tracking their client engagement and scaling growth.
In October, Perigon acquired Edison, NJ-based Gitterman Wealth Management and Gitterman Asset Management, which both oversee $1.3 billion in total client assets.
San Francisco-based Perigon Wealth Management manages $11.2 billion in assets under management, across 15,456 accounts, the firm said.
