- Nicole Monlon has joined Baltimore-based MCB Wealthbridge, a division of MCB Real Estate, as VP of West Coast sales. Monlon will be focusing on fundraising and adviser relationships across the western United States. Prior to joining MCB Wealthbridge, Monlon most recently served as VP and relationship manager of Alternatives at DWS Asset Management.
- Larry Roth has been appointed to the Strategic Advisory Board at WealthStream, a wealth tech platform. Roth will advise WealthStream’s leadership team on enterprise strategy, market development and strategic partnerships. Roth is the founder and managing partner of Ascentix Partners, a growth strategy consultancy firm. He also serves as a senior advisor to Berkshire Global Advisors.
- Otilia Ciotau has been named managing director of AI and Value Creation at VSS Capital Partners, a private investment firm. Ciotau will work across the investment lifecycle of the firm. Before joining VSS, she served as senior advisor to the managing director and CFO of The World Bank Group.
- Tim Kazachkov and Kevin Markett have joined Fiduciary Trust International, as relationship manager and senior relationship manager, respectively. Kazachkov and Markett will be based in the firm’s New York office and will report to managing director and portfolio manager Christopher Gleason. Prior to joining Fiduciary Trust International Kazachkov most recently served as VP and relationship manager at from Beacon Trust Co. Before joining Fiduciary Trust International, Markett also served as VP and relationship manager at ICONIQ Capital, on the family office advisory team and co-led investment management teams.
- eMoney Advisor, a technology solutions provider has launched Financial Assessment, a new digital tool, which is designed to help advisors engage with prospective participants, with a personalized summary of their financial lives across planning areas such as spending, education and retirement. Financial Assessment is currently available to all Premium Client Portal users.
- VanEck has launched the VanEck U.S. Equity Buffer ETF – October (OCT), which is designed to help investors navigate equity market uncertainty, providing exposure to the potential upside of the U.S. equity market. OCT follows the debut of the VanEck U.S. Equity Buffer ETF – July (JULV) ,and is the second of four planned quarterly buffer ETFs. For the fund, VanEck plans to regularly publish a range of key updates and data points, including the initial cap and buffer; daily updated values, including the remaining cap; the remaining buffer; how far the fund can fall before the buffer begins; and the number of days left in the period.
- SEI has opened an office in Singapore. SEI will offer services including asset servicing, professional services, and the distribution of SEI’s UCITS funds across Asia-Pacific. Connall McGuckian has been named managing director and Head of Singapore and will be responsible for leading growth in Asia-Pacific through SEI’s financial technology, operations, and asset management capabilities. Prior to joining SEI, McGuckian most recently served as COO at State Street, in the firm’s Alternatives Investment Solutions for the Asia Pacific market.
- Simplify Asset Management has launched the Simplify Brookwood Global Macro ETF. GMAC is designed to provide investors with access to a global macro strategy that can move across asset classes, take long and short positions, and adapt to changing economic conditions. GMAC will invest based on Brookwood Investment Group’s ongoing analysis of broad economic trends, considering inflation, interest rates, monetary policy, regulatory shifts, and the political environment internationally.
