- Jeff Lenhart has been appointed president of Prosperity, an affiliate of EisnerAmper. Lenhart will be responsible for the leadership, strategic direction, and long-term growth of the firm’s wealth management business. Prior to joining Prosperity, he was a partner at Forvis Mazars and served as the Southeast regional leader of its national wealth management business.
- Thad Ingersoll has been named chief compliance officer of The Inland Real Estate Group’s broker-dealer and registered investment adviser. Ingersoll will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the Company’s compliance program. Additionally, he will serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership and business partners. Prior to joining Inland, Ingersoll served as VP of Wealth Management Solutions and Risk and Controls Officer at Ameriprise Financial.
- Russ Greenwald has been named director of Strategic Partnerships of Becknell Industrial, a real estate investment company. Greenwald will focus on growing the selling group for Becknell Industrial Income Trust, the firm’s private and industrial income REIT. Prior to joining Becknell, he served as SVP and national account manager at LaSalle Investment Management. He also held senior leadership positions with JLL, Mesirow Financial, Guggenheim Investments, and Allstate Financial.
- Chris Peary has been tapped as chief private banking officer for U.S. Bank’s Wealth Management division. Peary will be responsible for advancing the unit’s strategy to deliver integrated banking, credit, and wealth solutions for affluent, high-net-worth, and ultra-high-net-worth clients. Additionally, he will oversee a relationship-driven private banking platform. Peary most recently served as national banking lead and West region banking manager for Ascent Private Capital Management of U.S. Bank.
- Jonathan Lewis has joined LPL Financial as managing director, chief technology and information officer. Lewis will lead key technology domains for the firm, including architecture, engineering, infrastructure, and development. Lewis will report to Greg Gates, who serves as LPL’s group managing director, chief product and technology officer, and is based at the firm’s office in New York City. Before joining LPL, Lewis served as head of Digital and Trading Technology for wealth management at Wells Fargo.
- Northern Trust Wealth Management has expanded its New York team with Gloria Fieldcamp and James Le Rose. Fieldcamp will serve as Senior Lead Relationship Manager, and Le Rose will serve as Senior Relationship Manager. Fieldcamp and Le Rose join under the leadership of the president of the Northeast region Katie Nixon. Northern Trust Wealth Management manages $534B in assets under management.
- Financial advisor Rocco Russo has joined Kestra Private Wealth Services, a subsidiary of Kestra Financial, in partnership with Alexandria, VA-based HF3 Wealth Partners. HF3 joined Kestra PWS in 2022 and is led by founder and managing partner David Tovey and includes managing partner Rachel Eisnhart. Prior to joining Kestra PWS, Russo managed $130M in client assets at Edward Jones.
- Oppenheimer & Co. has named Bruce Rideaux as a managing director in Public Finance and has promoted Lauren Carter to head of Negotiated Underwriting. Carter will assume leadership of Negotiated Underwriting following the retirement of Beth Wolchock, who formerly served as managing director and head of Municipal Underwriting, while maintaining her existing responsibilities in competitive underwriting. Prior to joining Oppenheimer, Rideaux held positions at UBS, Hilltop Securities, and PFM Financial Advisors. Prior to joining Oppenheimer, Carter served as a managing director at Janney Montgomery Scott.
- Lloyd Allen has been appointed as chief technology officer of StructureFlow, a structural intelligence platform. Allen will lead the development of StructureFlow’s AI capabilities, data connectivity, and integrations with the systems firms use to manage legal, financial, and transaction information. Additionally, Allen will lead StructureFlow’s global product and engineering organization, overseeing the company’s technology strategy and artificial intelligence capabilities. Allen will report to CEO Tim Follett. Prior to joining StructureFlow, Allen most recently served as VP of Engineering at Focaldata.
- Shirley Morejon has been named regional president of Truist Financial’s Tennessee market. Morejon will focus on scaling partnerships across Truist’s commercial banking, wealth management, and wholesale payments businesses. She replaces Johnny Moore, who was recently promoted to head of Commercial Banking Integration. Prior to joining Truist Financial, Morejon served as Bank of America’s market executive for the Mid-South region, leading a team of middle-market commercial bankers across Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, and Mississippi.
- Financial advisor Jenna Fiore has joined Janney Montgomery Scott as its first VP for Wealth Management and will be based in Glastonbury, Connecticut. Prior to joining Janney, Fiore was affiliated with Wells Fargo, where she oversaw nearly $150M in client assets.
- Chris McCarthy has been named senior managing director at Leerink Partners, a healthcare investment banking firm. McCarthy will work closely with Leerink’s research, sales, trading, and capital markets teams. McCarthy will report to head of Institutional Equities Rob Leerink, and will be based at the firm’s New York office. Prior to joining Leerink Capital, McCarthy most recently served as head of Equity Desk Analysts and Healthcare Desk Sector Strategist at RBC Capital Markets.
- Camp Hill, PA-based Conte Wealth Advisors has joined LPL Financial’s broker-dealer and RIA platform. Prior to joining LPL, the team was affiliated with Cambridge Investment Research, where they managed $1.6B in advisory, brokerage, and retirement plan assets. Conte Wealth Advisors is led by financial advisor Tony Conte, includes Frank Conte and Joe Henriques, and serves high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. CWA selected LPL for its technology capabilities and advisor support resources.
- Toronto-based Harbourfront Wealth Group has partnered with Zocks, a wealthtech platform. Through the partnership, Zocks will be available to Harbourfront Wealth’s entire advisor network. Additionally, Harbourfront Wealth advisors will be able to automate operational tasks, including client meetings, note-taking, email follow-ups, and CRM updates.
- Dallas-Fort Worth-based Optimus Capital Advisors will be joining WPWealth’s platform on September 1. The firm provides investment management, retirement planning, education funding strategies, and broader financial planning services.
- VanEck has launched the VanEck U.S. Equity Buffer ETF, which is designed to provide investors with exposure to the potential upside of the U.S. equity market. The VanEck U.S. Equity Buffer, which is subadvised by Lido Advisors, is also designed to provide returns tied to the price performance of the S&P 500 via FLEX options on the SPDR ETF Trust, up to a predetermined cap, while buffering against the first 20% of losses over a one-year outcome period that resets each July.
- Aquila Energy, a renewable energy infrastructure firm, has raised an undisclosed amount in the closing of a strategic investment by CenterNode, an alternative energy investment platform. The partnership will enhance Aquila’s finances and bonding capacity while providing resources to support the company’s next phase of growth. The investment will allow Aquila to continue building the systems, people, and capabilities required to deliver consistent execution across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, safety, quality, and project controls.
- Mercer Global Advisors has acquired Columbus, OH-based NorthAvenue Financial Advocates, which manages over $220M million in assets under management. NorthAvenue provides wealth planning and wealth management services, including investment management and tax planning, to high-net-worth clients.
- Alts Custodian, a private markets infrastructure platform, has launched its Private Markets Portfolio Construction and Modeling platform, which allows advisors, family offices, and individual investors to integrate private-market funds and other alternative investments into existing portfolios. The platform evaluates portfolios across multiple market environments, including economic scenarios and Monte Carlo simulations. Users will also be able to analyze expected outcomes, potential downside, and liquidity requirements.
- Chesterfield, MO-based O’Reilly has joined Millenia Investments, an Osaic Wealth affiliate. O’Reilly, which is led by Patrick O’Reilly, oversees roughly $250M in assets under management and was previously affiliated with LPL Financial. The firm provides wealth management services to high-net-worth clients, including private investors, professionals, small and mid-sized business owners, and ERISA retirement plans. Patrick has joined Millenia Investments as a financial advisor, and Carrie Wyatt has joined as a service advisor support specialist. Millenia Investments is led by Serati and executive manager and registered principal Samantha Estrada.
- Franklin Templeton has raised $1.5B with the closing of its Franklin Templeton Structured Solutions, its first Collateralized Fund Obligation. The CFO is designed to provide investors with exposure to Franklin Templeton’s flagship private markets strategies spanning private equity secondaries and continuation vehicles. The vehicles are managed by Lexington Partners, and U.S. middle-market direct lending is managed by Benefit Street Partners. Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions, the firm’s solutions platform, will serve as collateral manager for the transaction.
