Partners Group Launches Evergreen Private Credit Income Strategy

Partners Group has launched a global multisector private credit income strategy, available to institutional and private wealth investors worldwide through an open-ended evergreen vehicle.

The strategy targets returns in the high single digits to low double digits, generated largely through income. It will invest across senior direct lending, credit secondaries, fund financing, royalties, opportunistic credit and liquid credit, focusing on developed markets in Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region.

The diversified approach is designed to create natural offsets within the portfolio. For example, when slower M&A activity reduces direct lending opportunities, the strategy can shift toward credit secondaries or NAV financing, areas likely to be more active as limited and general partners seek liquidity.

Partners Group’s private credit business launched the strategy in response to growing investor demand, particularly in Asia, for high-yielding investments with stable income.

“As private credit markets continue to grow in scale and maturity, the opportunity to combine complementary income-generating strategies has increased,” said Andrew Bellis, global head of private credit at Partners Group.

Founded in 2003, Partners Group’s private credit business manages $40 billion in assets globally. It spans senior and junior direct lending, private credit secondaries, fund finance, broadly syndicated loans and CLOs.
